Al Roth Receives Nobel Prize in Economics

IQSS affiliate Al Roth (Harvard Business School) and Lloyd S. Shapley (University of California, Los Angeles) have been awarded the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel for 2012.  Roth and Shapley were chosen as the recipients of this year’s award for their work on the practical use of stable applications within market institutions.
