Dataverse Training

The Dataverse Project team provides weekly assistance to Harvard researchers with uploading, sharing, and finding data using the Harvard Dataverse. Open Office Hours begin with a Dataverse software demo, followed by one-on-one support for any questions you might have.

Workshops provided by the Center for Geographic Analysis (CGA)

The CGA offers opportunities to learn GIS-related skills both on campus and online. In addition to Harvard courses that students can take for credit, non-credit opportunities include:

  • Self-guided video tutorial series
  • GIS Institute (two-week training institute held every semester. Research proposal required)
  • Cartography Workshop (One day workshop held every SPRING semester)
  • GIS for the Humanities and Social Sciences (One day workshop held every FALL semester)
  • Basic Introduction to GIS (Two-hour workshop held every semester)
