Ansolabehere Guest Editor of Daedalus: Strategies for U.S. Energy Policy

Stephen Ansolabehere and Robert W. Fri are the guest editors of the Spring 2012 issue of Daedalus.  Along with ten other contributors, they assess the nature of U.S. energy policy: its historic pitfalls, ongoing complications, and possible future.  Together, the authors of this issue examine the initial steps and impediments to effectively restructuring U.S. energy policy.

In the article “The American Public’s Energy Choice,” Stephen Ansolabehere and David Konisky analyze how the American public perceives the relative economic and environmental impact of different energy sources.  They are able to use this information to construct a strategy for potentially making politically palatable changes to energy policy.
