DataFest 2017 Gives Researchers a Crash Course in Working with Data

February 14, 2017

In January, IQSS hosted its first-ever data science bootcamp for Harvard community members.

Faculty, post-doctorates, students, and staff members from across the University participated in DataFest 2017, where they participated in a mixture of lectures and hands-on workshops to build and hone their skills in working with data over two days. The lessons were conceptually structured around the data life cycle, covering topics that included "data concepts, project planning and data science workflows, processing and analysis, and finally data dissemination."

More information on DataFest 2017 can be found in the Harvard Gazette's recent coverage of the event. Thank you to everyone who participated!
