Alexandra Ciomek
Alexandra Ciomek is a doctoral student in Sociology. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Pennsylvania with a double major in Mathematics and Criminology. She also received her M.S. in Criminology from Penn in 2013. Her research interests include crime and deviance, urban sociology, the life course, policing, social networks, and quantitative methods. Her current research broadly focuses on social networks, gangs, crime, and policing. In addition to her academic work, Ciomek served as a Rappaport Institute Public Policy Fellow in 2015.
