Alice Xu is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Government at Harvard, focusing on the comparative political economy of inequality/welfare politics as well as on urban and environmental development in Latin America and East Africa. Prior to starting her Ph.D., she worked in the energy and environmental markets consulting industry and received her B.A. in Economics-Political Science and Sustainable Development from Columbia University.
