Andi Zhou

Andi is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Government. His research examines the psychological roots of interstate territorial conflict. Andi's projects use original survey data and experimental methods to investigate why people care about territorial disputes and how uncompromising attitudes may be overcome to resolve them. Previously, Andi was a program coordinator at the EastWest Institute facilitating unofficial U.S.-China and U.S.-Russia diplomatic convenings. He has also worked with the U.S. Department of Labor as a Harold W. Rosenthal Fellow. His op-eds on foreign policy have appeared in The Diplomat and RealClearDefense. Andi received a B.A. in Global Affairs from Yale University and an MPA from the School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University.
