Andrea Nasuto is a PhD candidate in Geographic Data Science at the University of Liverpool. His research combines large language models, geospatial modeling, and machine learning to analyze human behavior, with a focus on immigration sentiment and human mobility. His PhD examines immigration sentiment both online and offline using social media data, LLMs, and geospatial modeling. He has worked with multiple UN agencies on projects related to migrant displacement, crisis impacts, and human mobility in Ukraine and Latin America. Andrea has also contributed to studies and reports on urban sciences and climate-driven market shifts. His work has been cited in various research publications. He has been invited to present his research at multiple institutions, including MIT, Brown University, the Berkman Klein Center at Harvard, the United Nations Population & Development Division in New York, and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in London.
