Andrea Neyra Nazarrett
PhD Candidate in Economics, GSAS
Andrea is a PhD student in economics in the Political Economy and Government Program at Harvard University. She is interested in studying the role of labor markets on labor poverty and inequality. More specifically, how the fissuring of labor market institutions affects workers’ living conditions. She also has ongoing work in personnel economics investigating how labor management inside firms can affect regional labor markets. Before the PhD, Andrea worked at the World Bank and the InterAmerican Development Bank focusing on development in Latin America and the Caribbean. Andrea holds a Master's in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a BA in Economics from ITAM in Mexico.
