Asad Liaqat

Asad Liaqat is a PhD Candidate in Public Policy at Harvard University. His fields of research are political economy and development economics. His dissertation focuses on contact, connections and channels of responsiveness between citizens and different tiers of politicians in Pakistan using field experimental methods and original surveys. In other recent work, he focuses on constraints to women’s political participation. Asad is a Graduate Affiliate at the Institute of Development and Economic Alternatives and Graduate Student Associate at the Center for Economic Research in Pakistan.
