Chika Okafor
PhD Candidate in Economics
Chika Okafor is a PhD Candidate in Economics at Harvard University, where he specializes in Law & Economics, Labor Economics, and Political Economy. One arm of his research combines economic theory & methods with legal analysis to explore important public policy questions, particularly issues that impact vulnerable populations. This line of research lies at the intersection of economic mobility, inequality, and long-run economic growth.
Chika is also a Resident Tutor at Leverett House, one of Harvard’s undergraduate houses. A native of Chicago, IL, he received a BA in Economics with Honors from Stanford University and a J.D. from Yale Law School.
