Dr. McNeely founded the research program SHINE (Sustainability and Health Initiative for Netpositive Enterprise) to better understand the ways in which work can be a platform for societal flourishing and business can be a force for good. SHINE research covers a broad interdisciplinary perspective from the fields of organizational and behavioral psychology, public health, epidemiology, sociology, business economics and ethics, data science, and social policy. SHINE partners with academics, business, unions, and non-profits to generate mutual learning about real world challenges and solutions.
