Hannah's research interests are broadly related to race/ethnicity, identity formation, skin-tone stratification, discrimination, and how perceptions of individuals' "otherness" can produce disparate institutional outcomes. She is presently studying the impact of skin-tone on during-incarceration outcomes, such as security classifications.
