Joaquim Meira is a PhD student in the Department of Government. He is interested in issues of representation and political economy in Latin America, and in quantitative methods for causal inference. Before joining Harvard, he obtained a BA from the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco and a MSc from the Fundação Getulio Vargas, both in Brazil.
