Jonas is a Research Fellow and PhD Candidate at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition and at the LMU Munich, Germany. He is a Visiting Scholar at the Laboratory for Innovation Science at Harvard, Institute for Quantitative Social Sciences (IQSS).Jonas' research focuses on incentives, behavior and performance of individuals in tournaments. In particular he investigates the effect of pressure due to heterogeneous abilities of contestants by conducting and analyzing field and lab experiments.
