Jorge joined the Sponsored Finance team at IQSS in July 2023 as a Sr. Sponsored Research Administrator. Jorge supports several principal investigators affiliated with IQSS.

Jorge is a seasoned finance professional with over 25 years of experience in both education and the business sector. Jorge joined Harvard in 2003 as a Grants Manager at the New England Primate Research Center and has since had various roles with the Department of Psychology and the Harvard T. H, Chan School of Public Health. In these roles Jorge has managed complex financial reporting and analysis, lead business operations initiatives and assisted faculty and staff with portfolio management.

Jorge lives with his wife and 3 children (15-year-old boy/girl twins and 14-year-old son). In his spare time Jorge enjoys spending time on his boat and attending his children’s many sporting activities.
