Junyi Chen is a master’s student in Machine Learning and Data Science at Northwestern University, beginning her studies in fall 2024. She graduated Cum Laude from Stony Brook University in December 2021, earning dual bachelor's degrees in mathematics & applied mathematics and statistics, which she completed in 2.5 years. She also minored in computer science and participated in the WISE (Women in STEM) honors program. After graduation, Junyi worked as a full-time data analyst at Transwarp Technology in China for two years, focusing on the supply chain and finance fields. She is also certified as a Data Management Professional Associate and has developed a strong interest in big data and spatial data analysis. Driven by a passion for using data to drive industry growth and research advancements, she has contributed remotely to multiple CGA projects and is looking forward to expanding her work in geospatial analysis with the IQSS.
