Kiran Ambika Misra

Kiran Misra is a PhD student in the American Politics subfield of Harvard's Department of Government. Her substantive research interests include criminalization and the carceral state, disability, and race and immigration. Prior to starting her PhD, she worked as an investigative journalist and as a consultant for the United Nations after receiving both her Master's and Bachelor's in Public Policy with honors from the University of Chicago.
