Layane is a PhD candidate in Public Policy interested in research at the intersection of development, labor, and behavioral economics. Her current research explores the effect of access to digital communication technologies on entrepreneurship by marginalized groups. A second area of interest of hers is studying issues related to gender discrimination, stereotyping, and social cohesion.
