Lena Shi
PhD Candidate in Education Policy, GSE & GSAS
Lena Shi is a doctoral candidate in Education & Policy Evaluation. Her research focuses on identifying contributors to and solutions for higher education inequality, especially as they relate to public finance, school quality, diversity & inclusion, and college admissions. These research interests developed from her previous work as a policy advisor at the White House and researcher at the U.S. Department of Education. Lena holds an MPP and BA in Global Development Studies from the University of Virginia.
