Marie Chantel Montás
Marie Chantel Montás is a PhD candidate in Health Systems, Department of Global Health and Population at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She works at the intersection of development economics and global health. Her research uses quasi-experimental causal inference methods to evaluate the impact of health policies and programs on maternal and infant health, sexual and reproductive health, and pharmaceutical markets. She is particularly interested in health systems and how patients respond to dimensions of care quality, including provider behavior and service delivery. Marie holds an MPH in Health Management and Policy from the University of Michigan and a BA in Economics from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
