Dr. Mark Esposito is recognized internationally as a top global thought leader in matters relating to The Fourth Industrial Revolution. He is a global expert of the World Economic Forum and advisor to national governments. He serves as Professor of Economics, Strategy and Foresights at Hult Int'l Business School (where he directs the Futures Impact Lab) as well as at Harvard University’s Division of Continuing Education where he teaches a popular executive course on Artificial Intelligence. He is equally a Faculty Affiliate at the Center for International Development at Harvard Kennedy School. In his adjunct roles, he serves as Professor of Public Policy at Mohamed Bin Rashid School of Government in the UAE and as  Adjunct Professor of Public Policy at Georgetown University.

He served from 2015-2019 as Institutes Council Co-Leader, at the Microeconomics of Competitiveness program (MOC) at the Institute of Strategy and Competitiveness, at Harvard Business School under the mentorship of Professor Michael E. Porter and as Founding Research Fellow of the Circular Economy Center at the Judge’s Business School at University of Cambridge, from 2016 to 2020.

He is Co-Founder at Nexus FrontierTech, an AI scale-up venture and research lab and Co-Founder and Chairman of the Strategic Foresight Board of the Circular Economy Alliance, an edutech firm for certifications on the circular economy.


He was inducted in 2016 by Thinkers50 as one of the 30 most prominent rising business thinkers in the world and among the top 50 sustainability thinkers in the world by Thinkers360. 


He is a Senior Advisor to the Ideation Center of Strategy& at PwC in Dubai and to the UC Berkeley SkyDeck incubator. He has equally joined the India Dialog at Stanford University’s US Asia Technology Center since 2022.


Mark holds prestigious fellowships at UCL as a Policy Fellow, at University of Cambridge as a Senior Associate. He has authored/co-authored over 150 publications peer and non-peer reviewed, 13 books, among which 2 Amazon bestsellers: Understanding how the Future Unfolds (2017) and The AI Republic (2019). His latest books are: “The Emerging Economies under the Dome of the Fourth Industrial Revolution” (Cambridge University Press, 2022) and “The Great Remobilization: Strategies and Designs for a Global Smarter World", (MIT University Press, 2023). His next book will be "Digitizing the Emerging Economies" ( Cambridge University Press, 2024)

His academic journey culminated with a doctoral degree in Business and Economics from Ecole des Ponts Paris Tech, one of France's esteemed Grande Ecole.
