Max is a PhD candidate in Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School. He is interested in economic and political beliefs, such as election denialism, perceptions of social mobility, or views on high-risk investments. He combines methods and insights from Psychology, Economics, and Political Science to better understand how beliefs form, how they impact people's decisions, and the role of narratives in sustaining or changing them.

Max holds a BSc in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from University College London and a Master in Behavioral and Decision Science from the University of Pennsylvania. Before starting his PhD, he worked as a Behavioral Economist at the UK's Financial Conduct Authority.
