Michael Olson
Government, GSAS
Michael is a first-year graduate student in the Department of Government studying American Politics, with particular interests in legislative institutions, legislator behavior, elections, and U.S. state politics. He seeks to leverage the comparative scope of the fifty states to gain insight into the impact of institutional design on behavioral, policy, and electoral outcomes. Before coming to Harvard, Michael earned his B.A. in Political Science from Vanderbilt University, as well as serving as a Legislative Intern in the Tennessee House of Representatives.
