Sara Ji

Sara is a first year PhD student and a presidential scholar at Harvard studying education policy and the economics of education. Sara’s main research interests lie in applied econometrics, the economics of education, and labor economics, with a focus on inequality. She is passionate about using quantitative methods to understand and improve inequality in education and the labor market. Prior to graduate studies, Sara worked as a Pre-Doctoral research fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research on projects related to the impact of a desegregation busing program on student outcomes. She also worked as a Research Associate at Harvard Business School. Sara graduated from Brandeis University in 2021 with a BS in applied math, a BA in economics and a minor in philosophy.
