Sarah Farnsworth Hatch

Sarah Farnsworth Hatch is a doctoral student studying prevention science and implementation science at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She focuses on evaluating programs and practices which support children's social and emotional development, such as parenting interventions and school-based social and emotional learning (SEL). She also studies implementation barriers to these programs, and her current work is centered around politicized opposition to SEL and parents' censorship of schooling materials. She holds an MSEd in Teaching, Learning, and Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Sociology from Brigham Young University.
