Sarah is a sixth year PhD Candidate in the Social Policy and Government PhD program at Harvard University. She has several interests related to inequality, education, and American social policy. In particular, Sarah's studies the state politics of social policy, and political responses to policy failure and explores the contemporary political mobilization and organization among new constituencies. Prior to coming to Harvard, Sarah worked as a high school principal at a public charter high school in the Boston area. She also holds an M.Ed. from Boston.
