Shweta's research interests are at the intersection of development economics, political economy, and environmental resources. She currently works on research about geographical and administrative determinants of water use and crop choice in rural India, in addition to projects about political entry , politician incentives, and electoral reforms for municipalities in urban India. She has benefited greatly from IQSS resources on learning python and web-scraping.
