Steve has been at IQSS since 2011. He holds a PhD in Biological Anthropology from New York University and is completing a masters degree in data science at Harvard. He is originally from northern England, but has lived in New York and Helsinki, Finland. During graduate school Steve became interested in computational biology and statistical programming using R and Python. His areas of expertise include Bayesian and frequentist inference, deep learning, phylogenetic methods, and geometric morphometrics. In his spare time, Steve relaxes by playing with his dog, Beckett, and indulging his interest in photography.Steven Worthington
