Yuan Pei

Yuan Pei is a doctoral student in Public Policy at Harvard. Yuan's research focuses on development economics and behavioral economics. His current research explores how changing social norms can affect people's decision to enter the civil service. Another project of his is studying the impact of distance learning on reducing urban-rural education gap in China. Prior to beginning his PhD, Yuan worked for two years at the University of Pennsylvania and received his BA from UC Berkeley.
