Yuting Chen is a PhD student from the Institute of Space and Earth Information Science, the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her research primarily revolves around virtual geographic environment, geographic knowledge engineering and geospatial big data analysis. She has a background of computer science and software engineering. During her PhD study, she worked on the project “Collaborative Simulation and Evaluation of Interaction between Global Change and Human Activities and Environment Based on Virtual Geographic Environment”, concerned with intelligent data and model sharing and multi-dimensional visualization for collaborative geographic research. As a visit scholar of CGA, she will study under the supervision of Prof. Jason Ur and Dr. Wendy Guan.
