The OpenDP team is excited about the upcoming 2021 Community Meeting on September 22–24, held virtually from 11 AM–3 PM EDT each day. It is a great opportunity to find out how you can use OpenDP software, contribute to OpenDP and join working groups that will shape OpenDP going forward. We will share progress and plans for OpenDP and provide a forum for community feedback.

Abowd, Chief Scientist and Associate Director of Research and Methodology from the US Census Bureau will discuss the Census' achievement in using DP for the Decennial Census and what the OpenDP community can learn from the experience as developers and users of DP software. We will also cover topics such as project updates, roadmap, library architecture, and use cases during the plenary sessions. During the last day, we will hold breakout sessions to launch community working groups on a variety of topics. A detailed agenda and a registration form for the plenary and working groups are available at the OpenDP Community Meeting 2021 website. Registration is free but required for you to receive joining instructions. Please register by Friday, Sept 17.

We hope you will be able to participate in the meeting, and we look forward to your input on and engagement with OpenDP! Please feel free to forward this announcement to others who might be interested.
