Eleanor Krause
PhD Candidate in Public Policy, GSAS
Eleanor is a PhD candidate in Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School. Her research considers the intersection of place, environment, and economic inequality. She is particularly interested in understanding how the characteristics of local labor markets determine how individuals and communities adjust to economic and environmental change. Drawing from labor, urban, and environmental economics, her research advances our understanding of the economics of place, and helps inform how policymakers might confront deepening spatial inequality. Prior to her doctoral studies, Eleanor worked at the Brookings Institution and the World Resources Institute.
