Prachi Sanghavi
Graduate Student, Program in Health Policy
Prachi Sanghavi is a 3rd year PhD student in the Program in Health Policy at the Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and in the Evaluative Science and Statistics concentration of the program. She is interested in a range of subjects around violence and injuries, socio-ecoNomic determinants of health, and the roles of corporations in healthcare decisions. Her dissertation will explore the cost-effectiveness of different techNologies used in pre-hospital care. Prior to coming to Harvard, Prachi researched fire-related deaths among women in India, which are often related with domestic violence. Prachi graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering, and has spent a few years as a management consultant in New York City. She is the recipient of a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship.
