Rand Kiessig joined IQSS in May 2012 and has led IQSS Computer Lab Services since 2015. A California native, Rand has lived across the U.S. — from Washington State to North Carolina to Massachusetts — with stints in Mexico and Spain along the way. Before coming to Harvard, he held a range of technical roles at organizations including Microsoft, Verio, Data General, and Iron Mountain.

  • Coconut Battery: A quick way to look at battery health of your Mac, iPhone and iPad. (macOS, iOS).
  • App Cleaner: Allows complete uninstalls of unwanted apps. (macOS).
  • Prey Project: A security app that can help in the recovery of your stolen phone, tablet, or laptop. Highly recommended.
