Zaicheng Liu is a PhD Candidate in History at Fudan University and a Visiting Scholar at the China Biographical Database (CBDB), IQSS. His research focuses on the intellectual and social history of late imperial China, with current work on the Ming-Qing transition and its historical memory. At IQSS, he uses digital humanities methods, including large language models and data processing, in his research.
