Zoom Courses: Does the meeting ID change if I setup recurring Zoom meetings in Canvas?
No. The meeting ID will remain the same throughout the recurring scheduled meetings. Any other meetings scheduled outside of these will take on a new meeting ID.
Zoom Courses: Adding non-Harvard folks to Canvas course.

Zoom Courses: I cannot re-section students, what can be done?
Correct, it's not possible to re-section, but you should be able to manually create new sections within Canvas from this link.
This may work for sending section specific announcements.
Can people without Harvard emails still join the scheduled Zoom meetings?
Yes, they can if you provide them the link for the session, and you will need to share the meeting ID's nine-digit code.
Can I be signed into my laptop and desktop and run Zoom?
No, you can only be signed into Zoom on one device at a time.
What speed should my connection be?
Harvard recommends an internet speed minimum of 4Mpbs download and upload and if possible the use of a wired connection. You can use speedof.me to check your speed.
