Our playing field
We’ll continue to support:
- Universities: All Harvard departments, Washington University in St. Louis, and University of Notre Dame.
- Roles & Disciplines: grad students, post-docs, visiting fellows, professors, etc from disciplines focused on empirical research
- Research Artifacts: e.g. grants, preregistration plans, incomplete/unfinished papers, finished papers
Our recipe for success
- Give researchers a competitive edge: Reduce overall time to publication by helping users go down the right path at every stage, and providing quick review turnaround & quality feedback
- Remove apprehension of review of unpolished papers: Provide easy-to-use product/service and improve psychological safety
- Ensure quality, timely review: Improve reviewer incentives

- Finding product-market fit: User interviewing & targeted marketing on a smaller scale to ensure product-market fit
- Scaling promotion: Scale targeted owned, earned and paid marketing efforts
