Help Desk Assistance
The Lab Help Desk Assistants are available to help with various lab issues, such as account creation, HarvardKey, how to add print credit, item checkout, and general computer assistance. Lab Help Desk Assistants are not trained in IT but will make the best effort towards solving any lab software or hardware issue brought to their attention.
The IQSS Computer Labs use FAS active directory accounts that must be activated for use in our labs. New patrons can do this by signing up for lab access at the Lab Help Desk during regular business hours. Please note that we will need to see a valid Harvard ID card when signing up.
Harvard affiliated patrons who do not have FAS active directory accounts may sign up for lab access, and the Lab Help Desk will sponsor a FAS active directory account for your use. Please note that this process may take up to one business day to complete for new users.
Lab Signups must be done in-person to verify identity. Please feel free to visit us during business hours.
